Sysrecue failed writing winpe.iso

Hello, i had the problem that's the ISO -builder failed -and then the Window "WinPE erstellen" (german version) is freezed ( closing not possible).

The error in the log is:

Image file is 198930432 bytes

Writing 17 files in 8 directories to X:\AIK\winpe.iso

1% complete

WriteFile failed (X:\AIK\winpe.iso, off=3B4800 len=1000 status=103)

Error 87: The parameter is incorrect.

PS: This is my first error with nod32 Smartsecurity -i using this Software abouth 8 years without any errors. I'am otherwise very happy with this great product

System Information:

Smart Security 5 Version 5.2.9.12
Windows 7 32 Bit (no other errors on my system)
Windows AIK Version SP 1, loaded down from microsoft.
3,25 MegaByte RAM

No Errors occured before Rescue Assistant will create the ISO File.

Creating of ISO failed with ESET Error 87

Then it is not possible to close the open windows, i must restart windows 7 to close this window.

Becaus i cannot copy the log file as Text, i must create PDF to copy bitmap from the Rescue Assistant

I hope in the next Eset- version there is possible to copy logfile with Ctrl-C !

Why it is not possible to attach PDF -File there in this Forum?

additional information, the temp directory created by the Assistant on Appdata included there as attachement.

 

Ok in this case (not solved from support) it will be true -smart security is not able to create seperate security ISO file.

Direct from Microsoft -with the Microsoft download-Manager.

After installing the software from DVD on my system (Windws 7 32Bit) i had also downloaded and installed the AIK SP1 from Microsoft.

PS: This information i had submitted many days before ..see my frist posting

Could you help me identify which of the following was used?

• Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) for Windows 7 Version 3.0
• Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) for Windows Vista SP1 and Windows Server 2008 Version 936330AIK
• Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) for Windows Vista Version 1.0

I am thinking it was the middle one, since you mentioned SP1. Is that correct?

Microsoft tells : This update has no installer, i must only copy over the old files (overwrite mode).

There might be some kind of bug in that version of the WAIK which is preventing the ESET SysRescue disc from being created. Could you please uninstall that version, download and install the version for Microsoft Windows Vista SP1 and try using that to create the ESET SysRescue disc?
