I've noticed that Windows time does not synchronize. I've searched through the forum and found a topic that gives a rule to acomplish this, but I dont understand the rule.

Can someone help me here and tell me what to type in the rule to synchronize.

I'm using this server to synchronize, hora.rediris.es.

After creating the rule should I restart the computer because it uses svchost.exe.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Normally you just need a rule to allow port 123 on UDP.
Here is a rule to import for that:
    http://looknstop.soft4ever.com/Rules/En/ntp.rie

If you want to have a rule specific to the server you are using, then you can refine it by mentioning the IP address of this server (you can get it by doing a "ping hora.rediris.es" in a command window).

    Regards,

    Frederic
