SAV didn't take long to install, I wasn't asked hundreds of ridiculous questions on setup, it's fairly simple to configure, I'm running the heuristics on full - it seems a totally different product (checks label on CD to make certain it IS SAV).

And to be honest, it's quite nice having an AV that just does it's job well without giving warnings every few minutes. Another couple of days testing, but so far I'm very impressed.

Where did you "buy" SAV for individual use ?

I've just installed Symantec Client Security V3.1. I like its projection very much, and it doesn't have any noticeable slowdown after system started. The firewall seems to be solid, and its log looks professional. It detected and blocked 2 Trojan attacks when I signed in Yahoo Messenger. However after installed it, I realized the slow Windows start-up (after I typed my user account password to log on). I don't know why the icons of firewall and antivirus are separated in task bar (2 icons), and the firewall's interface looks like Norton 2006 which is supposed to be memory hogger and system slowdown.
