Symantec Protection Suite Small Business Installation

    hi everyone,,

    dears I'm planning to install "SYMANTEC PROTECTION SUITE SMALL BUSINESS" on a PC that has windows XP service pack 3.

    I want to ask does anyone has gone through installing this software process??

    is it complicated or it just a matter of pressing NEXT??

    any manuals or visuals will be appreciated :)

    This is is a business solution and is a suite , which consists of these products inside . SYMC Protection Suit SBE includes:
    - Symantec Endpoint Protection SBE 12 (for Windows)
    - Symantec Antivirus for Mac/Linux
    - Symantec Mail Security for MS Exchange
    - Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery 2010 Desktop edition

    It is generally a product to be used in corporate environment . On Windows XP you can't install Mail Security or the antivirus for Mac/Linux.

    The installation is not difficult but this is generally not to be used in home/home-office environment . What kind of user are you ? Please give more information

    yes I understand that it's for business use

    dear we have a small network consists of 11 devices (5 servers has windows 2003 server and 6 PCs has windows XP service pack 3).

    We want to install (SYMANTEC PROTECTION SUITE SMALL BUSINESS) on one of the PCs that has windows XP.

    From the Protection Suite Small Business on Windows XP you can only install : Endpoint Protection 12 and Backup Exec.

    You should download the install files from http://fileconnect.symantec.com

    Both products are installed easily . Both can be deployed to be either managed solutions (from a server) or unmanaged solutions . Unmanaged clients are installed directly on the workstation with a few option to configure during install and NEXT . Managed are installed from the server. For the managed you can see this video:
