Sygate Personal Firewall 5.0, installing

    Is it better to completely uninstall SPF version 4.2 before installing version 5.0, or doesn't it matter?  Any problems with users using the new version?

    I'm afraid I don't know the answer (sorry!); I hope someone else will jump in.

    Murray,
              you can install SPF 5 over the older version. This way, SPF 5 will detect your settings on SPF4 and will prompt you to save these settings in your new version.
    Worked fine for me !

    I also installed SPF 5.0 over the top of SPF 4.2 without any problems. :)
