I want to start switching away from Microsoft Windows to Linux, I want better privacy and I'm getting tired of this it makes me mad and sad about what has happened and what I have learned through the years, I even have a ton of Windows discs and now there useless to me. I feel Debian with XFCE would be the best choice, I would then setup a virtual machine of Windows 7 where I could continue doing my video editing work, I have tested this and I think there should be no problem.
