Switching to Acronis...Some Questions.

Hello all!
Im switching over to Acronis TI from the "other" imaging software and have a few basic questions.

My Primary Use: Backing up my home network PCs (4PCs) to a "soon" to be Linux box.

Licenses:
1) I understand we need one PER machine that we want to back up. Long story short, I have a machine that I would like to have a 'basic' image of in case of failure (incrementals are not needed) just the single "restore" image. Is there a license that would allow this type image? A one shot image deal?

2) If I upgrade my Mobo/Proc etc will I lose my License? (Some software you will loose your license if you upgrade hardware)

3) How many times can I re-install the software? (M$ XP Pro makes me call them for another Key Code when I reformat to a new drive).

4) Is there a more cost effective license for my needs? I want to back up 2-3 PCs to Image files, or will I have to purchase the full versions 3 x $00.00?

Downloadable Software:
1) I have downloaded the user's manual already, and I plan on doing the Digital Download of the program and burn the program to CD. Will I be missing anything from the Box version?

Etc:
1) Is there a version of TI for Linux?


I cant say enough after using the Trial, Acronis is spot on! I have so had it with the "other" imaging software nightmare of creating boot disks. With TI I just clicked and burned and BAM! bootable CD that can see my network all in a wonderful GUI interface!

1)The number of licenses you have should be not less than the number of computers where Acronis True Image is installed.

2) If you upgrade your computer and lose the license please contact us via support@acronis.com, we will certainly help you.

1) The boxed version of Acronis program contains installation CD and Startup Guide. Startup Guide is a concise description of Acronis program. To get full information about our program we recommend you to read the User's Guide.
