    I dont get spyware eiether.
I use firefox with no script.
but its always nice to have a antispyware on demand scanner.
if you find a substitute for superantipsyware can you tell me?
atm i use a squared just to double check kaspersky some times.

There is no conflict whatsoever between SAS and KAV/KIS.

hmm atm i have spyweeper just use for on demand but the background service always runs.
so i think something lighter like trend micro antispyware might be better since its light in realtime as well.

Let me add my 2 ignorant cents to this thread. I was, if you want to take the time to look back, one of Nicks biggest critics when this product first came out. I assumed, another fly by night product. I can honestly say now, there isnt a better dedicated AS product on the market. In the short time he has busted his ass, with his staff,(smile), on creating this product, he has done an outstanding job. The free version is lights years ahead of some paid, and the paid version really is worth it. Personally Nick, I would like to see you enter the AV market. If this product is any sign of what you can do, I will be a watching. There is nothing better today.:)

I bought 2 lifetime licenses soon after it trialed SAS. I have tried all the good ones, and hands down SAS Pro is my favorite. I admit I never get infected, but it gives me an additional sense of security.
Nick is great at addressing problems. I appreciate that, and without excuses when there is a problem, which I have never had.:D

if i can get the scan working it will be fine.
i just which the interface was nicer.
im doing what the support said right now.
the scan is going great so far!

btw for interface better what i mean is the following.
the icon of the man with a red cross over him looks cheap. i like the little bug thou.
also to many things on the right click menu.
the right click menu should just have open main men, scan and preferences and enable and disable realtime protection
alll the rest should be in the program.
so it would be alsome if you could replace the man with the redcross with the little bug then it would look better.
    they have got great support

ok anything in the blue i think should be kept and the rest should be in the gui as not to cluster up the right click menu.
sorry about all the white space i should of resized it better.

Lodore I know exactly how you feel, I've uninstalled SAS 2 times before deciding to keep it because of the interface, but I will keep it now to compare to the others because I feel it really is a great program with detection and removal.

    @btman im glad you agree.
thats why now i can complete a scan fine i thought i would share my thoughts about it so nick can improve it later on.
it seems now i can let spysweeper subscripson end and just use a squared free and superantispyware as ondemand every so often.
now lets hope that Nick reads this.

BTW SpywareQuake looks damn flashy but it sure is one POS.
Looks are not everything, its whats under the bonet that counts IMO but for some....oh well coffee, tea ?

BTW how many of y'all have seen SAS free chew up multiple malware infections in a sitting ?

I do every day by inflicting my computer with 2-8 unique infections daily but collecting malware comes at a cost of having a very hosed PC at the end of it.So i need a damn effective cleaner on board once i've archived the collected malwares for uploading and wanna go again for more:p

Look2me,Lop,Smitfraud type(free codec),Qoologic,Wareout,Vundo,CWS/VX to name some of the malware infections that i harvest and SAS free is my sole malware cleaner against them :D
Don't believe me then check MIRT malware listsrve database for malware submissions by fatdcuk>>>
    http://www.castlecops.com/f269-Malware_Listserv.html

More often then not it will nail entire infections in one sitting but on the occaision that *new/repacks* are dropped then Nick S & staff have been quick (6-48hrs) to turn around the malware submissions into added definitions so SAS wins the rematch.

Pretty maybe not all that buts its an absolute bruiser against more recent malware infections when compared to most of the rival softwares which half the time need the use of extra tools to clean infection(s) sucessfully

pm is sent i pasted in the information the support gave me and the link to where to download the superantispyware file that is 1mb bigger than the old one.
after you do that and run a scan can you tell me if it works?
and you dont see high cpu in avp and the scan completes fine?
cos it worked perfectly for me.
