Just upgraded to version 5.3.0.363 via internal updater. Something's wrong here:

SUMo tells me that version 5.0 has already been released, which is not true. Hope this can be fixed.

For info the "big" update in 5.3 is the "excluded folders" feature available in the Settings.

Only started using VoodooShield today and thought I would check out SUMo as I currently use PSI.

Downloaded latest lite version from http://www.kcsoftwares.com/?download and ran it to be greeted by my first block by VS. Scanned the download at VirusTotal too and it also came up with detections.

I appreciate they could be false positives , sophos detects nothing, just looking for Guidance.

This is a false positive. I'll contact VS to get this cured. (maybe you could report it too ?)

The reported RCC.exe update version does not exist as far as I know. I checked your site and it only lists the one I have installed. Where is SUMO getting 1.69.5.0 from?

 

Hey Kyle, Sumo has been saying that version 212 of ESET is "available" for several days now. I've done many searches and looked at the ESET website, and the latest production version released is 210. Can you check on this please?

I don't get it, 1.69.5.0 doesn't exist on the devs website. Only 1.0.6.24 is offered there. SUMO is still telling me to update to a version that I can't find anywhere.

Still waiting for the "early adopters" threshold to be reached before declaring version as current

 

As we've seen several times before, the previous version is offered for download, instead of the new version.
Perhaps, in the future, after putting the new version on the server, perhaps you could wait a little longer to announce the new version, to allow the server cache to refresh, or whatever it is that takes a little time. Could that be an idea?
