SUMo is saying latest update of SumatraPDF is v2.5.0.8543 http://www.kcsoftwares.com/sumo/vie...SumatraPDF&Company=Krzysztof Kowalczyk&prot=2
I've tried all the sites given in the SUMo update webpage but none has it. Only Softpedia says 2.5.xxxx but that too is Pre-release version. The developer's site also offers only 2.4 version.

 

Okay SUMo recommends Driver Agent to update drivers. Is it free, safe and reliable? In the feature list of Driver Agent it says 'NEW — Software Updates for thousands of popular applications'. If I install Driver Agent by the recommendation of SUMo, I can update both software and drivers with it. Then SUMo becomes unnecessary.

If you're reluctant to adware, please use "Lite" installer : it has NO sponsors proposed during installation.

That's the kind of false positive that, if reported by the right click / report beta menu action will be fixed by SUMo support quickly.

 

What do I say ? that i'm currently working on my own Driver updater in order to "replace" recommendation to Driver Agent by a product of my own

Now that's what I'm talking. Why recommend another software and now that too has become a competitor? SUMo should have everything itself.

The 'Loading....Done' window has a dysfunctional minimize option. It doesn't minimize. And the list of 'Unable to load the following files' in the window is pretty long. I've sent you a pm with the text file of the list. Would you mind taking a look at it and see if they're okay not to be loading?

And SUMo detects updates for http://www.kc-softwares.com/sumo/vi...&Company=Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.&prot=2 and http://www.kc-softwares.com/sumo/view.php?uid=170941650&ProductName=DriverSetup&Company=&prot=2 but I couldn't find any updates on the sites mentioned in the webpages of SUMo. Could you kindly check where to get the updates?

 

These 2 software have too few users to indicate update availability in a reliable way.
Such problem will be indicated more explicitely in SUMo's next versions.

Will there be a way to ignore by EXE, path, hash, or something else other than the value in file properties?

The reason I ask that is due to the fact that some executables have the same value, but I want to ignore only one of them. On next scan, SUMo ignores both.

well sumo works perfectly as usual.
I can confirm that adwcleaner name issue is solved 'couse I have it in my portable tools on my pc

 

SUMo is running fine here. Besides I don't use any of the software that the latest release resolves problem with.
