Just updated, whats with DriverAgent? Its sits at the top of the screen blocking some of the print. I don't want it, I don't need it, this is a PUP being forced down our throats. I've uninstalled SUMO, when DriverAgent is gone I may use SUMO again. You should know better then to sneak this crap in, not going to have too many fans here.

Users have been requesting a driver update feature since the early beginning and DriverAgent seemed to be a fair implementation (along with IObit Driver Booster). Is it a poor choice ?

Btw, following your request, i'll make the button "optional" in next release : http://www.kcsoftwares.com/bugs/view.php?id=2292

    +1

I am also a Norton DNS user, and access to the KC Softwares site is now blocked and identified as a malicious website.

Kyle, can you please shed some light on this?
    Merci beaucoup.

I haven't tried this program out yet, though I intend to. I am wondering if the website is continually being flagged due to the PUPs included with the standard versions?

Most probably yes, I never saw so many PUPs in one single installer, lol :)

I have seen much worse. However, and I don't mean any insult, considering the overall feelings towards PUPs here at Wilders I am a bit surprised this program gets the support it does from members.

    Hello,

Kyle gives you options for all of his software downloads. Just download the lite verion or the portable version as both of these contain no sponsors or PUP's...

That's the week end's bad news guys... Norton has been firing at us by mistake.

4 threats among which 2 links are "pure" web pages, 1 download with RK, 1 download with "NORK" link. I can't understand how this went to their database...

I know... i've posted on their community forum in order to get whitelisted again.

My post on their forum to request whitelisting is here : http://community.norton.com/t5/Nort...lse-Positive-www-kcsoftwares-com/td-p/1061801

Maybe would it be a good idea to post in this topic too, in order to make them clean their database faster. Thanks !

On XP-SP3 just trying SUMo v.3.9.4.221 and I think I like what I see. Tight looking output and export to .csv are fabulous.
Questions about few snags I hit as I'm learning how it works:
    1. if I put some things into the IGNORE list, is there a way to un-ignore some of them back? or is clearing the ignore list and starting from scratch a way to go?
    2. what is the source of version numbers for Update Available - users or vendor sites? I see some differences in several places, none important since I want a bunch of old ones to stay at the version I have.
    3. if a Depth scan was done, is there a way to tell SUMo to revert to Normal? - does it really crash SUMo gui or just take a long time to accept a new setting?

    Yes. Tools>Edit Ignore Lsit (CTRL+K)

SUMo users community. Read more here : http://www.kcsoftwares.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=252

Yes : Go to settings (CTRL+S).
Takes time but less than 10sec. If crashes, please report bug here : http://www.kcsoftwares.com/bugs/

    Point 1 - un-ignoring
I tried again. I put 6 programs into ignore list.
    Edit list, Remove - I removed 2
They did not reappear on the main list, which was my expectation. Right? Wrong?
Currently ignore list shows 4 items.
I reran SUMo, and the 2 are really gone. I can start over, no big deal, but I have a hunch this isn't right.

Points 2,3 - didn't get to it yet. Thank you very much for answering.
