Hi Kyle,

Epic Games Launcher 15.11.0 wasn't detected.

 

It seems ok : https://www.kcsoftwares.com/sumo/vi...es Launcher (64 bits)&Company=Epic Games, Inc.

 

Maybe now, but when I scanned a few hours ago it wasn't detected. Then I needed to use the Epic Games Launcher to check something and it auto-updated. I was surprised that SUMo didn't notify me for an update.

 

Maybe a short time window where SUMo was not already configured on this new version

 

Kyle, I have Malwarebytes Premium 4.5.33.272 installed on my computer. Sumo 5.17.9.541 is advising me there is a new Malwarebytes version but my Malwarebytes Premium is telling me it is up to date. What am I missing? Sorry to bother you. Thanks in advance.

 

Latest version 4.5 34.275, they were having issues updating to the latest version as per the Malwarebytes forum, advice was to download the latest version and install overtop. This was a few days ago, I think they fixed it but I am not sure. Check their forum.

After installing the portable version, this version keeps crashing on me after sumo does the requested re-scan. Went back to previous version which is ok.

 

Interesting ! At which point does SUMo crash ?
Would you please contact me by PM or email (support AT kcsoftwares.com) for troubleshooting ?

 

The problem seems to be in the area of the SCAN button function. When using a new version for the first time or selecting it manually. I think it also has to do with the number of programs that eventually are loaded. In my case that would be about 1300. The other problem I see is that if and when a scan completes, there's a pop-up that does not get the focus and you get the impression SUMO is hung. The list shown is quite long.

 

Is it systematic ?

 

The pop-up I think yes. The crashes are random.

I did some back to back manual scans and managed to get SUMO to crash. I think it has a problem handling a large number of programs.
