Hi Kyle,

I noticed that SUMo is not detecting FormatFactory properly in the last few builds?

I have the latest version 5.1.0

but SUMo detects it as 5.0.1

Is SUMo looking at the right exe file ?

 

Hmm...I now checked and it seems that SUMo is taking the information from C:\Program Files (x86)\FormatFactory => where for some reasons the old folder wasn't removed when FormatFactory self updated...

The new installation is in C:\Program Files\FormatFactory.

I uninstalled manually the old version by running the uninstaller from the folder (and not from the Control Panel where the entry was probably overwritten by the new installation) and ran a new scan with SUMo. Now all is OK. Thanks!

Btw SUMo is detecting DAEMON Tools Lite (64 bits) Disc Soft Ltd 10.12.0.1184 as the latest version but the latest seems to be 10.12.0.1203.

Btw can you check the latest version of Action! as well? SUMo is showing 4.4.0 as the latest version but there is 4.6.0 from yesterday.

How did you fix BleachBit 4 if there is no info in exe properties?

 

Registry data. Therefore, it works for "Installed" version, not for portable. But it's better than nothing....

Can you make the browser not pop-up after an update?
Very annoying. Besides I have the computer unpluged when i install.

Firefox 75, does the same with Palemoon.

 

But you mean pop-up to which page ? Using SUMo PRO or SUMo Free ?

 

According to the installer script (SUMo seems to packaged with Inno Setup), SUMo opens a browser after each installation (via sumo_lite.exe). The same if SUMo gets uninstalled.

+1 for not doing that. So annoying!

Lukcily the automatic update does not do that.

 

There's version info in bleachbit.ini file for portable version. I don't know if SUMo can look there

Yes, perfect. Misses the build and is empty before 1st use of bleachbit, but it's better than nothing !
