Can someone check it out for Avira Phantom VPN Pro

Revo Uninstaller Pro indicates it's version 2.11.3.29834

But SUMo reports it as 2.11.3.29830

Looks like 2.11.3.29830 is current but a 2.11.3.29835 seems to exist, likely beta version

First i wondered what the "goodbye" windows is, but i have found it out. This:

Yes. This is a test for 5.4.4 and i can "re-enable" the check box remotely if it makes SUMo too much a pain.
Let me know, from an honest user perspective if it is :
    - acceptable
    - a good incentive to move to PRO

(as usual, discount on PRO available on request by PM :) )

If there would no "noticeable difference" between the Free and PRO version then there would be no incentive to buy the PRO version.
I find the the un-disablable window "acceptable".
Maybe not for Users which are launching SUMo >20times a day but they have a good incentive now to click the first big button on the "goodbye" window ;) (and all other users too...)

I don't know if it is in your interest to remove option to hide that window. Personally that is a way I found out that if I pay, this goodbye window can be removed. Now that an option is hidden new users probably won't even know that this window can be removed if Pro version is bought. Just my 0.02.

I do not like this, I, and I think many others try to stay away from software with nag screens, its possible I would stop using Sumo because of this. Sorry, just my opinion.

    An idea:
Perhaps the SUMo PRO version could better be renamed to SUMo "support", or something similar. And in all references to the "support" version of the product, there could be stated clearly that it is primarily meant to support product development. I think that marketing as a 'support development' version would be much more sympathetic than marketing it as "PRO" where it offers hardly anything more "pro" than the unlicensed free product version.
With all respect, to me, any product marketed as "PRO" that offers hardly anything more than the free version feels wrong, where clearly mentioning options to support product development may feel sympathetic. Clearly mentioning other ways to make a financial contribution, like a donation by PayPal or credit card (as mentioned on the KC Softwares Shop page), may also work for some users.

I agree with the above post. If there is no difference between the free and 'pro' version then calling it 'pro' isn't helpful. Most users would expect a 'pro' version to have additional features as well as product support.

Like one other unrelated product I know, it could be called 'donor's version' where it clearly states this helps to support product development.

I share your view. I'll disable to Nag Screen lock and will look at something better :)

For information & feedback : next "major" update of SUMo will be 5.5 and will add SSL support for secured communication.

I will likely test OpenSSL on another product before massive deployment in SUMo (probably in DUMo first). I'll let you know so that you can test (and raise bugs there before SUMo gets released)
    Thanks !

I'm using the latest SUMo v5.4.4.380 and it reports

Voodooshield as v3.10.108.0 and update available as v3.59.0.0

VS version is now 4.15. See below

Is 4.15 detected as 4.15 by SUMo under the same name ?
