I do not know if the problem is caused by NOD32 but it does remind me of an old problem back in 2008 (fixed on May 21, 2008 - 3.0.657, problem causing system instability on Microsoft Windows Server platform) my ProLiant DL160 G5 running Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 hanged with no obvious errors. the only error - eventID 1060 (see attachment) doesn't help me. while hanging ping is the only service working but nothing else does. can't access disks, keyboard is frozen and RPC connection cannot be established. I'm shooting in the dark because I am in the dark and since it did happen once, it might be a repeat. anyone with similar issues and\or ideas?
