Stolen Laptop

    Hi,

    We have had a laptop stolen. We can see the device turning on every so often.

    ESET server allows remote installation of custom software. Have you ever heard of installing "tracking software" once the laptop has already been stolen?

    It would be amazing to get this laptop back. Its been missing for a few months now, but keeps coming online!!!

    Any ideas?

    Contact ESET. They will have the IP of the machine/network logged, and can help with the police. They have helped us with this in the past :)

    Hello,

    You should also have a copy of the police report on the stolen laptop to provide to your local ESET office when you contact them.
