still bsod in ess final version on win2000sp4

    only on win2000 sp4
    i am telling about this bsod till ess beta but not response there is some serious bugs in ess firrewall after installing ess v3.0.551.0 system crash and restart
    then after booting bsod appears
    *** stop 0*00000044 <0*81d8ccc8,0*00001b1f,0*00000000,0*00000000>
    MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS
    then i run safe mode and delete these two files in system32\drivers
    epfwndhk.sys and epfwtdi.sys
    after deteting these files win2000 sp4 start but ess saying that
    Falied to read firewall configuration
    please correct these bugs

    Have you searched for the stop message stop 0x00000044
    kb294876,867774 etc
    It may not be ESS

    epfwndhk.sys and epfwtdi.sys
    after deteting these files in safe mode window start this is ess bug
    beta 1,2,rc1 and now final also got this bug

    I reckon seeing some badly written network card drivers that used to cause BSOD when the firewall was installed. Maybe you could try updating them to the latest version, or try installing a different network card just to see if it makes a difference.

    i unplug the network card but bsod still appears

    epfwndhk.sys and epfwtdi.sys
    these two files are not compatible with win2ksp4
    please give me win2ksp4 compatible files
    then i paste them in system\drivers and tell you if it work

    Can we please stop calling 551 "final" it's not, there's already a 557 and we're still a few days from release so it probably won't be the last.

    You are very right . The correct way to call it is "Commercial release" .

    Version 2.70.39 is the final developement release of NOD32 v2.

    i tell this bug to support team
    they said could you upload memory dump from this BSOD? Use ftp.nod.sk, anonymous login. Zip it into (emailname).zip and send me a message then.
    but when i zip memory dump it size is 700mb i am a dialup user i cannot upload big file please tell me what can i do
    i really want to buy ess but not a bsod and bug

    The memory dump is the best way to help them help you . Find a way to connect your machine to higher speep i-net connection and upload the dmp file


    Or burn it on a DVD and send that DVD via post to ESET in Slovakia (old way but working :D)

    i am using build 551 problem is in ess drivers only
    epfwndhk.sys and epfwtdi.sys
    when i delete them no bsod appear
    please anyone send me these two files from build 557
    then i tell you bsod appear or not
