New to using a ssl vpn, and when connecting to https:// sites (like wilders) "connection times out." No access at all. Regular pages are fine. Can access w/o vpn, but would like to use https w/ vpn as part of my surfing in general.

Router problem? Port 443 overloaded? Check - Nothing listening on port 443.

I have searched and for some reason this does not seem to be a problem for many. Am I asking for something ssl vpn was not intended for? :doubt:

Found a clue - does this sound like it could be the problem?

ISP sends ICMP dest unreachable to my comp re: DNS lookup attempt by vpn. Apparently ISP is blocking access to vpn dns?

Will try to set vpn's dns on the nic as work around.
