    Hi Guys,
I'm not sure, loading FF seems longer, add on same, than hdd. Have not tried comparison on/off rapid mode. I suppose now in rapid mode click 'restart' start timer, stop timer at when last start up loads, then turn rapid mode off, reboot, then restart start timer, stop timer when last start up icon loads?

BTW - I'm non 'Raid' Is 'Intel Rapid Storage' delayed startup, necessary?

Not really, I can take it or leave it. It doesn't boot or open apps any faster.

    Triple Helix,

Thanks for your observations. I saw you post on PCIe NVM SSDs too.

I talked to Samsung Tech, who said "rapid mode" speed can vary, quite a bit, depending on memory load at the time. He said for more consistent 'speed' turn rapid mode off. Or your mileage can & will vary in rapid mode.

I couldn't notice any improvement when using rapid mode so I just turned it off as well.
