SpywareGuard system error?

After downloading and installing SpywareGuard I get the following error when I try to run it: "System Error &H80004005 (-2147467259). Unspecified error"

I get this error regardless of whether I try to start SpywareGuard from the desktop short cut or from the Start menu. I tried rebooting but the error persists.

The SpywareGuard live updates seems to work fine tho.

This greatly exceeds my meager software knowledge. Any ideas on what might be going wrong?

Should I try to re-install?
