SpywareGuard is not sending me any Updates Help

    I had downloaded SpywareGuard about 5weeks ago it did update when I first installed it. but hasnt done so since. On reading the blurb about updates for this protection before installing it, It said SpywareGuard is updated frequently. So I am wondering if I need to re-install it? or what to do. Have not found any articiles in your forum relating to my delima here. help Best Tryne

    If the date is 1/22/04....you have the latest updates.

    No dont reinstall it. The latest definitions file is 22/1/04 and that is correct. Spyware guard works by heuristics. So it will be fine.

    yeah well that's fine guys i will not uninstall it and re-download now as you say, :blink: I am not complaining it's freeware :thumb: I'm just pleased to have this neat program Thanks Best Tryne :D

    You will find that SpywareGuard seldom has updates, but be assured it is working. I think in the last two years that I have had it, I have had two updates...the last one just a few weeks ago. :shifty:
