After installing the 2.0 version of SpywareGuard, I ran the update. When I clicked next to start the update procedure, two things happened. It went through the update procedure, saying it was downloading updates dated for the 17th and completed successfully. At the same time a second window with a warning message informed me that the definition files were missing or corrupted and that Live Update would be started automatically. This window opened underneath the original update window. After allowing the original update to finish, I clicked OK on the warning window which started the update procedure again, which informed me that the definitions were up to date. After finishing the procedure, noted the definitions date was still the 16th. After closing the interface window and reopening, definition date is now 17th. Any subsequent runs of Live Update behave normally with the up to date message. Do I have something to worry about or was this just growing pains? Running Win98SE, IE6.0SP1, all updates applied except the q813489 update. TIA.
