    Hello iz,

Take a look at this thread. It talks about the same error as you are seeing. But, read it through before trying any of the suggested fixes just to see if it fits your situation.

    Hi LowWaterMark,

Oh... I see. I'm using Chinese XP. That's why.... Javacool said he's working on it.

    Thanks anyway.

    Hello,

Did you read this comment ?

Although SpywareBlaster operated completely by WinXP of my Japanese now, but some troubles are caused by the software using Japanese fonts.

    Hello Mina,

Thanks for your help... I can now run the program perfectly after switching all my settings in 'Regional and language settings' from HK(Chinese) to US(English). I've been using the English interface though my localization settings is HK(Chinese). So the Chinese localization isn't particularly useful for me. Not really a perfect solution but I don't want to touch the XP Registry indeed.

    cheers,
    iz

I'm glad to hear you have SpywareBlaster working correctly - I'm still working on a fix but I'm happy to hear that the alternative (manual) method is working.

    Best regards,
