SpywareBlaster and IE conflict?

    Sometimes when I close IE, my computer freezes up, it didn't do this until I installed Spyblaster(which I love) It doesn't happen all the time. Just some of the time. I regularly update IE and am having an issue with that too with some security thing I have installed but it keeps saying I need, but that is another story. I use windows 98se(old I know) could that be an issue also?
