Usually I'll just download the new installer and then let it sit till after I've un-installed the old version of whatever.

Can this be done with the new SB too? Or does it download-install in one shot, similar to the Java online version, so I should uninstall before I even start downloading?

I would love to install the new version. However, search though I may, I can not find a "Quick Tasks" nor a "Disable All Protection" link anywhere in my SpyBlaster program. Please tell me where to find "Quick Tasks" so I can get to "Disable".

They're at the botton of the "Status" page (main window) together with "Check for updates"

This is 4.0 but Quick Tasks is in about the same spot(near middle at the bottom) on older version.

Thank you & I'm embarrassed that I didn't realize that. I guess when I read the instructions, I was thinking that I had to find a "Quick Tasks" tab somewhere. Never dawned on me that it was in a section that I use every day. lol on me & thx again.

Thanks, Dave, that worked. I never had Sea Monkey but I did once have the Mozilla suite.

    This is great, nice job!!!

I have always loved this program!

    Quick question......

Will there be more frequent updates? Or will it still be every 2 to 3 weeks?

Thanks again for such a great product!

SpywareBlaster should provide much better compatibility with Vista x64 in the new release. :)

    Best regards,

Nice to see that 4.0 no longer has any mixed-case entries in the cookie blocking list. With all of the entries now being lower-case, they work properly in Firefox. Thanks for the fix. It is sure is great to be able to click Enable All Protection again.

    Hi,

Yep - that and many other bugs have been squashed in 4.0. In fact, almost too many to list. But they're all fixed. :)

    Best regards,
