A little over a year ago I heard that spyblaster was going to get a remote network admin interface. Is this a dead enhancement? o_O

I running Firefox 2.0 and Spyware Blaster seems to work fine with it. What's your issue?

    Hey,

I wish support for Opera and Firefox Portable (not installed) versions.

Maybe we can manually add an path or setting to the registry or ini-settings file.

Or you offer an setting/options in SB, in order that you can select the folder of the profile from the portable version of either Opera or Firefox.. ;-)

    Thanks in advance!

    best regards,

    iNsuRRecTiON

Maybe "Spyware Blaster" and "Spybot search and Destroy" Teams should work together . There is an "immunization feature" in Spybot that ONLY restricts IE for certain URLs and Spyware Blaster lacks about 12000 URLs which have been added by the Spybot Search and Destroy Immunization Feature.
Maybe you guys should contribute each other with the missing feature in Spybot to integrate Firefox URL blocking and spy and malware lists.

    Update Wish

I'm not sure if this is possible, but...

Each time a new version of SpywareBlaster is released, I have to uninstall the old version and install the new version in order to continue using the update feature.

Can you please allow older versions of SpywareBlaster to continue using the update feature without being forced to upgrade to the current version?

With each new version, SpywareBlaster keeps getting better and better, but I'd like to be able to upgrade on my own terms. :)

    Thanks!

I dont want to be whiney but,

I want a MULTIPLE LICENSE option for autoupdate.

I have three machines and keeping them all up to date is a pain the arse compared to the asking price!

Please make it so that it crosses over to different user accounts on the same computer. My computer was infected with spyware the one time I let someone use it on the "guest" user setting. (They were downloading from the Juno site.)

I understand a lot of free software won't cross over to different user accounts. This is a major problem. Hope you can fix it.

If there's a fix now, pls let me know. Otherwise, great product!

-Ability to view new/unchecked items together. Usually, items without killbit are mixed with items already checked. This becomes a PITA when you use custom lists or when you don´t enable all protections. Having a way to group unchecked items could overcome this.
-A way to use custom lists that are not formated for SWB use. Examples: IE-SpyAD, TNT´s blacklist. In short, a way to imitate the functionality of Zoned Out.
    Best regards.

I want the speed optimization for loading custom blocking list. Currently I am using a custom blocking list from here. When I try to open the customeblocking list tab, spywareblaster would not have any response for half minute. The list contains ~5700 items and its size is around 700kb.

I have a computer with FF 2.0 installed and SB reports that FF is not installed and thus protection cannot be enabled. It did this on FF 2.0 and is still doing it on FF 2.0.2

In SB, once you've told it what protection you want SB to use with FF, it works perfect.

Just click the blue line to the right of FF on the protection screen.
Then select all. It's easy to see once you get there.

    Feature - Include Rogue Suspects

I would like to see some "Rogue Suspect Web Sites"included in the protection Updates, and would be willing to Pay for this feature.

    What is your opinion?

Re: Would love SB compatibility with Firefox 2.0

I recently had trouble geting updates after a Firefox upgrade. I am not saying that was the cause. I just reloaded the same version of SWB and it updated straight away.

It might have been a FF glitch or it mightbe that I was running the original app in a different partition. Since it all got sorted I never chased it up.

Flock should be supported already as it is based on mozilla. Someone correct me if I am wrong. Autoupdates are only avalible to those that have paid to help support spyware blaster.
