Spyware Database

Is it true that adaware se and spybot-search & destroy hasen't got such a big database compared to others

i have adaware se, spybot-search & destroy and microsoft antispyware but i have seen threads and other sites that says adaware is not as good as before

Now does spysweeper catch more and remove more than adaware se and spybot-search & destroy

wat about spyware doctor?? its got good reviews but is it a crappy program?? is it fake

 

Spy Sweeper has 68462 signatures, so yes it does catch than both Spybot & Ad-Aware. I'm not sure how many sigs, that MS-Antispyware has, but it's free just as Spybot & Ad-Aware, so you might as well use them all.

If, in addition, you get hpguru's HOSTS file w/eDexter & JavaDog, IE-SPYAD, and SpywareBlaster it'll be better than any standalone anti-spyware/malware/adware solution out there.
