    Hi racerman51,

    Welcome to Wilders.

Reboot into safe mode, and zip the following files before deletion and e-mail them to Pieter at the address in his profile. Please include a link to this thread.

    C:\WINDOWS\APPLICATION DATA\ZTHEKOOOCK.DLL

Some of the items are from viruses. I would strongly suggest you do an online virus scan and run a resident AV scanner if you are not already. Some good online scans can be found here.

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,SearchURL = http://out.true-counter.com/b/?101 (obfuscated)

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://out.true-counter.com/c/?101 (obfuscated)
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = http://out.true-counter.com/b/?101 (obfuscated)

    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = http://out.true-counter.com/b/?101 (obfuscated)
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://out.true-counter.com/c/?101 (obfuscated)
    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,Search = http://out.true-counter.com/b/?101 (obfuscated)
    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,Search = http://out.true-counter.com/b/?101 (obfuscated)
    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {D6DFF6D8-B94B-4720-B730-1C38C7065C3B} - (no file)
    F1 - win.ini: run=C:\WINDOWS\..\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\MICROS~1\MSINFO\msinfo.exe

Download CWShredder and run. Be sure ALL other windows are closed use the Fix button and follow the instructions you will receive.

Then reboot in Safe Mode and delete the following:

    C:\WINDOWS\APPLICATION DATA\ZTHEKOOOCK.DLL

Reboot and then post a fresh HijackThis log.

I would also suggest if you do not have a resident anti-virus, you get one. Some are reviewed HERE.

    Regards,
    Kent

    Hi racerman51,

Here is what happened with that. The first scan you posted you had HJT in a folder of its own, "C:\UNZIPPED\HIJACKTHIS1977\HIJACKTHIS.EXE". When you did the fix, you had HJT on you desktop, "C:\WINDOWS\DESKTOP\HIJACKTHIS.EXE". HJT creates backups of everything it fixes and saves them to the folder that it is in.

I would suggest that you create a folder for HJT and move it there. Then cut all of the backups from your desktop and paste the into the same folder you made for HJT. That way you have the backups, just in case ;) .

Other than that, your log looks clean now.....
    Good work!!!

    Regards,
    Kent
