Thanks for the good news. Now, it would be nice if they now come out with an update. Been a long time.

    Best regards,

Well, I'm a Life.Time Subscriber for Spyshelter Firewall and Yesterday shows again what can happen to the Word "Lifetime".

Since Feburary -> No Update! And honestly i was losing Trust in the SS Company. And the Vanishing Website was the turning Point in distrust em.

Right now i give Comodo a Trial, the Pro Version is atm for 19.99$ at Sale, so that was 16 Euro -> A Steal in my Eyes.

BTW MBAM & Comodo are playing nice together.

To be honest MBAM & Spyshelter had no Problems at all on the Playfield

    Best Regards from Germany

Ok whatever form they come back now, if they don't reply to their old e-mails I would not trust them. Who knows they might be taken over by something else that now posses as SpyShelter but in reality it's masked keylogger. :)

Who knows, it sounds way too fishy. So unless you directly hear back from the developers I would not download or use any of the "new updates" that might show up on the site.

    Hello,

I finally got a response from two month old emails I had sent. I replied and added questions about recent website outages and why email response has became so slow. I also inquired into how he was doing. I then went to the website to check things (like possibly new beta), but found out website is down once again. As of this posting it has been down here for almost 24 hours. Very strange occurrences here of late to a product with (or at least had) excellent customer service...

From original post in june to here now in mid july and the website is still down seems very odd and would no longer trust it.Very sad or pathetic depending on one's view of it.

You say you got a response back. If you don't mind me asking, what exactly did the response imply?

Will the response benefit us potential buyers or paid customers?

I am curious as to what is going on as well.

My questions had nothing to do with why their website went down.

    For those who run SpyShelter...

Can a single SpyShelter license be used on multiple computers?

I was able to snag me a TrialPay license of SpyShelter Firewall, but have not gotten an E-mail with my serial number info. I know it went through, because TrialPay sent me a confirmation that it worked.

Makes me think that something weird is going on with the SpyShelter company

    *EDIT*

Nevermind, just got an E-mail with my registration info.

As a result of reading this thread I joined this forum and contacted SS with my concerns:
"Hi, I am considering buying SpyShelter. I am trialing the program currently and comparing it against Zemana. I like SpyShelter better, but I have two main concerns. 1) Are you in active development? The last program update was in February 2012 & 2) I have been reading in forums that your site has been down a lot recently and that your email responses have been very very slow. Your prompt reply will mostly alleviate my second concern. Thank you."

I received the following reply within a few hours:
"Which forums? If you are active forum poster you can inform people that:
    1) VPS server problems were recently solved and website will run stable
    2) Program is still under development and new versions are supposed to release soon"
