spybot1.1 available

Hi everyone,

Thanks to a lot of help (you're all great ), I've been able to find and fix a lot of bugs, and implement some new suggested features

Among the new features are for example:
* Backups created for Usage tracks & System internals
* product info now possible in other languages
* display updates based on language
* switch to toggle display of pgp signature updates
* support of XP themes
* update function support mirrors
* installer program
* startup section
* hosts section

You can view the complete list of changes and bugfixes here.

The new download is available in two formats for the first time.
If you like to 'old' way of download zip files, you can do that here (2.2 MB).
If you're a beginner or want the easy way, you can download the installation program here (2.4 MB).

Mirrors will also be available during the day, which will be announced here and added to the download page as well.

1.1 will also be available for the integrated update as soon as I've cleared some space on the old update server (1.1 supports mirrors so this shouldn't be a problem any more in the future).

Just installed it from http://studserver.uni-dortmund.de/~su1669/spybotsd11.exe

Works fine, and it contains all updates up to this moment.

Wher did the percentage meter and time meter go while doing a scan?
I redownloaded from Pepi's link and it works good now.
Time works ect...
I really love this program and am proud to be of help in a tiny way..

New version downloaded and working great.

No spybots detected on my machine - as it should be.

P.S. There seems to be a minor graphical bug with the percentage bar - if you only select spybots, it doesn't go to 100% when it is done scanning - it stops about halfway through. Nothing big.

 

Although Patrick does stop by here regularly, I believe, it might be useful to indeed post at the SpyBot forum about this little bug.

It will likely get noticed a little earlier.

I heard that version 1.1 would be available today.So I downloaded the zipfile .I followed instructions.The uninstall of 1.0 was easy and the install of this new version was equally easy.I have ran the program and it worked without a problem.I think Patrick really did a great job with this new version! It may just be me,but I think the tracks utility finds more tracks,history than before.Spybot search and destroy rocks!!!!
