Spyblaster opens slow

    I love this program and it works great but from the time
    i double click the program icon it takes 18 seconds for the
    program to open. running Windows98SE with 256MB of
    ram.

    Welcome at Wilders. :)

    During that time SpywareBlaster checks against which items the kill-bits have been set.
    That has to be done so the list with checked and unchecked items it displays is correct.

    The next version will include improvements in that regard.

    But indeed - SpywareBlaster checks the protection when it is started.
