What is the quickest way to tell if a computer has the SP2 update for XP or not?
I guess the quickest visual way would be to look for the Security Center in the Control Panel.
You can click start/my computer/ click on view system information you should see something like this

Whew! Not there! Great news.
even before I got sp2 I had four hot fixes with the sp2 prefix. Even now useing belarc advisor it shows one sp3
