What is the quickest way to tell if a computer has the SP2 update for XP or not?

    Hi Q, ;)

I guess the quickest visual way would be to look for the Security Center in the Control Panel.

Thank you. We thought we got the SP2 against our wishes when we saw the Windows XP Hotfix (SP2) Q819696 in the Add/Remove programmes. So what can this be then? There is no security center in the Control Panel but this computer has not yet gotten rebooted since the suspicious download.
