    I guess we will have to wait on official tests. But if they can really spot most malware without the use of any true signatures, and without generating too many false positives, then it would be truly a big break-trough.

    The trick isn't trying to spot malware, but control what is on your system, malware or not. Also guard your email, with a strong dose of common sense.

    Sadly for a lot of people, this is not something that can be purchased. Therefore, YMMV. :)

    Actually, that IS the trick. After all these years, developers are still looking for a solution that doesn't rely on signatures, because we all know that most AV's can easily be bypassed. I sometimes upload malware to VirusTotal, and it's shocking to see how many big names AV's can't spot new malware. AI/Machine Learning is supposed to solve most of those problems.

    Machine learning is only as good as the data fed in and the teacher. It's not magic, it's now marketing
