    EDIT: Many of these problems will effect Windows as well. The more specific ones apply to Linux/ Fedora but if you have a small address space there is only so much you can do with ASLR.

    Well, I'm running 64bit which is not affected :). BTW, Hungry, as you are still relatively new to Linux this site which gives an overview of the security features in Ubuntu might be interesting for you.

    Yep, I've referenced that page often, thanks. I wish Windows had something like that, it's very helpful.
