(SOLVED) Prevx 3.0 and Vista Security Center

    Hi!
    There is anyway I can get rid of the Prevx 3.0 in my Vista Windows Security Center?? I tried all sort of methods with no success (including Prevx removal tool). Any specific registry to twick or modify? Just installed once and now will follow me forever! :mad:

    See my previous post about resetting WMI ;)
    There is not way to get rid of it :(

    They must use a persistent way to signal their presence in the registry?

    if wmi reset didn't work then .... you can try reinstalling prevx or some other similar progs. i found those actions fix the issue somehow

    ...And this is what a removal tool also see after resetting the WMI. Apparently I still have both a legacy to PREVX 2.0 and PREVX 3.0 on my sysem.

    I hope developers have a way to clean this without re-formatting the machine! :(

    Yes, indeed.. tried that too.. but no, no effect. On the contrary, got stack with PREVX 2 and PREVX 3!!!!!
    Their persistance on the WSC is worst than malware... LOL
