I ran adware and then the hijackthis.

My main problem is with these two trogens:

    Trogen horse BackDoor.VB.11.AM
    location: C:\_RESTORE\TEMP\A0046680.CPY

    Trogen horse SecThought.F
    location: C:\_RESTORE\TEMP\A0046682.CPY

I haven't had any noticable problems yet, except being booted offline and new odd programs running when I click control + alt + delete.

    Here is the hijackthis log:

    Logfile of HijackThis v1.97.7

Re: Driving me nuts, 2 trogens I can't remove

    HI Dannigirl825

I'll tell you at the end HOW to get rid of them.

Pls. save your HJT in its OWN folder - like C:\Hijackthis !

Check the following items in HIjackThis - close ALL windows except HijackThis and click "fix checked":

    O2 - BHO: myBar BHO - {0494D0D1-F8E0-41ad-92A3-14154ECE70AC} - C:\PROGRAM FILES\MYWAY\MYBAR\1.BIN\MYBAR.DLL

    O3 - Toolbar: &SearchBar - {0494D0D9-F8E0-41ad-92A3-14154ECE70AC} - C:\PROGRAM FILES\MYWAY\MYBAR\1.BIN\MYBAR.DLL

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [stcinstaller] c:\installer\id53.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [O7V] C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\O7V.EXE

NOTE....even in safe mode you may have to open taskmanager and end task on some of them before you can delete them.

Make sure you can view hidden and system files: Instructions here

Then Boot to safe mode: Instructions here

Delete the following files\folders IF still present:

    C:\PROGRAM FILES\MYWAY
    c:\installer\id53.exe <-------- seems to be a trojan !
    C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\O7V.EXE

Then reboot and use AdAware as described here:
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=15913

Now, empty your TEMP Folder / Temporary Internet Files Folder and then empty your "Recycle Bin" and reboot.

Then Disable system restore: Instructions here
scan again with your Anti Virus

after you are done ENABLE system restore again.

    Problems gone?
