Softmaker Office 2008 now freeware

    This is fantastic news. Thanks.

    The best MS Office clone that has portable capabilities.

    I first tried this as an Ashampoo app (Ashampoo's version doesn't have the task writing component but otherwise is pretty much the same.) I now own Softmaker Office 2010. I don't use it a lot but when I have, it's worked fine for me.

    (Beginning with SM Office 2008, you can read and write to MS Office 2007 & 2010 files (docx, xlsx, etc.)
