    Welcome lafiel!
Paraphrased response per my query to Belarus:
German branch office (which hosted forum) was closed due to economic reason.
Belarus office assuming it's function to support German customers.
Decision of opening new forum will be made later.

It will be a shame if all archived informative forum posts are lost.

Yes, German support was perfect. We are discharging their obligations now. We'll try to do it as well.

    Addendum to previous post
For those interested, VBA32 builds since Jan. (It appears they've been busy.)

    Hi Lafiel

May i suggest one thread like Twister-AntiTrojenVirus Thread. in which you'll be giving support for the time being.
No need to open a lot of threads, only one if enough if it has quality and if people from VirusBlokAda are dropping here, and are keeping us updated.
Also the product mentioned above is not very well known by the people and making some similar thread would be nice, if forum support for some reasons in this period lacks.

    VBA32 does support Vista x64, 2008 Server x64, Windows 7.
I suspect you need DL Vba32.Vista.exe, Vba32.S.exe (server) builds.

Hopefully VBA32 Belarus will chime in here with clarification.

I'm not Lafiel  , but I can answer on your question.

You can open one thread where people will be able ask questions about our products and receive information. But we are not ready to provide active support (for example curing, false positives, complicated problems etc.) on this forum. We have two e-mails: for Russian-speaking support[at]anti-virus.by and for English-speking support-en[at]anti-virus.by. And feedback[at]anti-virus.by for samples and FP. For the present our Tech Support works only there.

Yes, we support Windows 7. But there are some bugs. Therefore we don't talk about official support of Windows 7. Now being actively develop. In the near future we'll publish new beta-version for Windows 7.

For install on Vista and Windows 7 you should use ftp://anti-virus.by/pub/vba32-vista-3.12.10.8-english.exe

What if a malicious file has a digital signature? Will a detection which ignores the setting be released or will it not be detected until the user unticks the setting?

If that happens, the very digital signature will be added to the database, and all samples with this signature will be detected.

I will try to lead an active technical support
but it will be based on my enthusiasm and can not
    be a full official support.

    Hi Sergey and Oleg,

    Thanks for the answer.

The thread that i'm suggesting is more like enthusiastic and learning thread.
I'm aware that you guys can't provide full support here and nobody expect that from you.

As for providing active support Tech Support, i know that for all products, security product or not, that kind of support is provided by e-mail.
So don't worry about that kind of questions.

My suggestion was to introduce people more with you product as it's not advertised a lot around the world.

I see that some people have some experience with VirusBlokAda and have visited the forum so i will give them advantage to be pioneers for starting new thread if they are willing to do that.

    Hello!

    Sorry for delay :(

We are planning to release public version of VBA32 AntiRootkit during the month. It'll be 3.12.4.0 version. At the same time information will be added on official site in Russian and in English.
Information about beta-testing and beta-versions is available and will be available on www.virusinfo.info and www.wilderssecurity.com

I share your opinion. Thank you for understanding of the situation.

Christmas offer: 3 year key for price of annual license.

Hopefully someone from VBA32 will drop by to clarify and advise as to whether this offer is valid for English language customers.

Does VBA allow activating a license sometime after the purchase ? My security solution still has a some time left, but after that I would like to give VBA a shot.

    I cannot answer that.
    Perhaps you can query: sales-en@anti-virus.by

Edit: Looking at my key file, I suspect (?) that the clock starts ticking a week from date that key was sent.

The compressed format used well in Japan is .lzh.
Does vba32 support the .lzh format?
