so i went from avira to kis7... thoughts

I think you made a reasonable move. Don't forget to change Meatwad to a big Red/Black/White K (or better yet, Frylock).

 

WOW .. im impressed. kis7 runs WAY better on my desktop than even avira did. its simply just so fast.. very suprised... even running the start up scan.. just wanted to update this thread.. i had avira on and went to kis7 and its even lighter/faster than avira was on that pc. about the same as avira on my laptop but man the desktop is just so smooth now... sweet

i simply love the fact i can actually use everything while doing a full scan with the settings at max.. i can still use any programs i want.. there is almost no slowdown while its scanning..

 

did you also do a speed test to see the difference?

 

i will do that tomm and see how it comes out

yes so far im verry happy with it.. ill fully know in a couple more weeks if im a full convert i guess.. lol

 

While I don't run KIS on my machine (it slows down browsing for MY install - My wife's machine runs fine with it though), it is one of the best products out there.
