A couple of years ago I checked on VirusTotal an application called SNVtimer 3.0 by Nikolay Sukhorukov, and with no detections have been using it since. I just noticed v3.06 is out so I downloaded and put that through VT: one positive from ByteHero. Not getting too concerned about ByteHero, I nevertheless put the old v3.0 through VT again. It said it was recently already analyzed with 0 positives, but when I re-analized, there were five positives (ByteHero, Commtouch, F-Prot, K7AntiVirus and Symantec WS.Reputation.1).

I am interested in any thoughts or advice. My first post, so please let me know if I missed anything. Thanks.

Thanks, I glad to hear that! I was concerned with F-Prot calling it W32/VBTrojan.Downloader.1D!Maximus.

I also think it's a FP. FYI, ByteHero is a pure Heuristic scanner afaik, so it may be a little sensitive :).
