Is this a file created by ATI?

    Can it be deleted safely?

    One more, if i can,

I have ATI version 7.0. Will i have to remove it when the version that will
    handle 64-bit addressing is available?

    thank you,

    Hello savagcl,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Yes, snapAPI.log file is created by Acronis True Image. It is a special diagnostic log file that we sometimes need to troubleshoot the problems. You can safely delete it.

What concerns your second question, I would recommend you to completely uninstall Acronis True Image 7.0 prior to installing the newer version.

Please also note that the new version of Acronis True Image is planned to be released till the end of the year 2005, but exact time frame for this release is not decided yet.

I advice you to visit Acronis online store to purchase the upgrade when the new version will be released.

    Thank you.
