I've tried to install ATI for Linux but the snapapi26 modules need to be installed manually. I have tried following the HOWTO document but it's not worked.

Here's what I've done on my SUSE 9.3 box :

Download TrueImageServer9.1_d_en.i686 from the download site.
    ./TrueImageServer9.1_d_en.i686
An error is given at the end of the install saying I have to install snapapi myself.
I've entered the following into the SSH window :

    Code:
    dkms build -m snapapi26 -v 0.7.10 --config config-2.6.16.33-061227b --arch i686 --kernelsourcedir /usr/src/linux
When I run the above command I get the following :
    Code:
Preparing kernel 2.6.16.33-061227b for module build:
(This is not compiling a kernel, only just preparing kernel symbols)
Storing current .config to be restored when complete
    Running Generic preparation routine
    make mrproper..........
    using config-2.6.16.33-061227b
cp: cannot stat `config-2.6.16.33-061227b': No such file or directory
    make oldconfig......
    make prepare-all......

    Building module:
    cleaning build area....
    make KERNELRELEASE=2.6.16.33-061227b -C /usr/src/linux SUBDIRS=/var/lib/dkms/snapapi26/0.7.10/build modules.....
cp: cannot stat `config-2.6.16.33-061227b': No such file or directory
    cleaning build area....
    cleaning kernel tree (make mrproper).....

    DKMS: build Completed.
Then I goto install the file and get this :
    Code:
Error! The directory /lib/modules/2.6.16.33-061227b doesn't exist.
You cannot install a module onto a non-existant kernel.
The config file may be the problem but in /boot I have 4 :
    Code:
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 32322 2006-12-27 10:45 config-2.6.16.33-061227b
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 29824 2006-04-27 09:33 config-2.6.16-rc6-060427a
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 30253 2006-07-15 17:45 config-2.6.17.5-060712a
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 30302 2006-12-16 08:24 config-2.6.17.8-061216a
    What have I done that's wrong ?
