    every operating system is vulnerable. only because linux have not much (very low) market share, there exist only few informations about hacks or malware. but this is not about linux, this is about SNAP packages on server. user need to chose such apps to get hurt. thats a lot different from your first sentence/assumption.

    I think you know what I mean. Most people probably think they can't be hacked on macOS and Ubuntu, so this is a great reminder that even official app stores aren't always safe. And how do you think that most Windows users get hacked? It's because they get tricked into downloading some document or app, not via some fancy exploit. So there is no difference between Windows, macOS and Ubuntu when it comes to this. Also, doesn't Ubuntu have built-in security and if so, why didn't it protect this user?
