    Well, not surprising since all it takes to make an entry-level "smartphone" nowadays is almost the same materials/components used for feature phones + Android. Samsung and Sony do a lot of those from what I've seen.

    Manufacturers still make feature phones? As far as I'm aware of it's only Nokia who still release feature phones every once in a while. Samsung also release them but a lot less than Nokia, barely ever in-fact. :blink:

    Not everyone wants a smartphone. There's also the emerging markets.
