Smart Security and Spyware Doctor

    Hi, is it safe to use eset smart security along with spyware doctor 5 reduced edition (ie. it does not have the antivirus programm installed and it only has two shileds active - the email one and the file one). Would they conflict and reduce the effectiveness of smart security? Thanks.

    I think that there could be conflicts, especially with the File protection. You should use SD only for on-demand scanning.

    I am running Spyware Doctor v5.5.1.322 without AV, but with Computer Immunization ON and OnGuard Protection ON.

    No conflicts that I can trace to this combination, which I have been running for several months.
