    The installer of simplewall v1.6.5 has been updated (July 30, 2017) and a GPG Signature of the installer has been added to the list of available downloads (and the MD5-checksum has been removed).
    Download
    sha256 checksum
    GPG Sign
    And it seems the executable (simplewall.exe) is also signed now:
    No other files has been changed in the updated installer, it doesn't need to be re-downloaded and installed again (only if the user want to have the GPG signature in the application folder :))

    Worst app I've ever seen. Developer closes legit bug issue, act like someone which copy and paste from stackoverflow. I can't recommend this to anyone. We already have tons of GUI's for WFP/WF which are better.

    Can anyone show how to update to the beta.
    Do you just overwrite with the 64 bit part in the zip? Tried that get occasional crashes. 64Bit
    I see no other folders than C: Program Files, simplewall
    1.6.5 work fine.

    @Circuit

    I did overwrite 64-bit files only, contained in 64 folder.
    No problems on Windows 8.1 and 10 LTSB x64 here.

    Can't see rules_config.xml file on this new version. Is it deprecated by now?

    rules_config.xml is only configuration for internal rules, and generated by simplewall when you change internal rules configuration.

    Thak you @mood for posting a news!

    Overwrite 1.x with 2.x version, but not back, 1.x will corrupt configuration of new version.

    One crash maybe setting to many rules before letting it connect, after that seems fine.
