    Hi

    I have a HP DV6

Its not a computer I use every week.

I noticed the other day that after I leave it switched off for a week it is 70% battery. 2 weeks about 50% and 3 or 4 weeks of being off it goes to only a few percent.

I rang 'good old' PC world and they said a lithium ion battery discharges when it is not in use and all this was normal. The ladies name was Louise Wright and she said she was Microsoft certified.

Is the information correct. Should my battery behave this way?

    Cheers
