So I will try this soft out. I'm more interested in being able to restore my images on new hardware - completely different motherboards, cards, and such. What are your experiences with this feature - what's needed - what's the process like - what's the result like - should I even attempt it with the 30 evaluation version - and is it worth the $80 price tag? Thnx.

    Hi Ragzarok

Personally I think it's worth the price. Bear in mind all you can expect from restoring to different hardware is that the system will indeed boot into windows. You will then very likely have to deal with all the driver issues.

I tested Shadowprotect's HIR using very different hardware and it did indeed work. But I would have still needed to do driver work.

    Pete

PS. That would be true of any image program.
