shadowprotect activation

    Im upgrading my vista laptop to windows 7 later today.I will probably perform a clean install.For licensing purposes do i need to deactivate shadowprotect before upgrading ,and then reactivate or doesnt it matter because its the same machine?

    You will need to deactivate before the Windows 7 install. The machine ids between Vista and Windows 7 will be different.
